On my recent trip to Alaska, i watched aLOT of FoxNews. Since i was surrounded by people who liked the channel, i thought i'd shut my mouth and actually listen to the words coming from the television. HO-LY Shit.
And maybe it's not just FoxNews' fault...all the 24-hour news channels have done since their inception is blur the line between "journalist" and "commentator." O'Reilly even refers to himself as "your humble correspondent" during that clip. These people are not journalists or even correspondents (and neither is Jon Stewart). They are commentators and America is no longer smart enough to know the difference...that is truly the scary part.
