The wife and I went out and saw The Hangover this past weekend. We both laughed unbelievably hard to the point where I thought my side was going to split open. Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis are at the top of their games. But as much as I loved laughing so hard, I couldn't help but notice the qualities of the film I didn't enjoy. I thought it was sorta misogynistic and homophobic. Ultimately, it glorified the idea that men can go out, get drunk/high, screw around on their girlfriends/wives and that it'll all be OK in the end. I really hate that. However, I laughed my ass off.
