Depressed...

I listen to "Morning Edition"on NPR every day as I head into work because it is a good way for me to get a quick update on the news world from a reliable and non-right leaning news source. The bummer part of that though is I get extremely depressed on an almost daily basis. Today was no exception.

Here are some pieces of news I heard that really bummed me out:

1/4 homeless people in the Pacific Northwest are veterans of a war. Way to go US government and military. Lets remember that when we have this Monday, Veteran's Day off.

The death toll from Tuesday's bombing in Afghanistan has risen to 52, many of those being children.

The Writer's Guild of America's strike will halt production of the Office starting November 15th.
