I heard a story on NPR on my way to work today that made me laugh out loud. They were reporting on how our President George W. was on the campaign trail for fellow Republicans as mid-term elections are rapidly approaching. George W. was in Iowa yesterday campaigning for Jeff Lamberti, a candidate for Congress in Iowa's 3rd District. During his speech, the President spoke about how he and Lamberti saw eye to eye on many issues, including supporting the war in Iraq, lowering taxes, and not allowing gay marriage. He talked about his personal endorsement for Lamberti and how he is “looking forward to working” with him.

The hysterical part of this story is how during the speech the President continuously referred to candidate, who’s first name is Jeff, as Dave. He supports him so much, yet doesn’t even know is first name. Unreal.
