Why We Fight

I finally got around to watching the 2006 documentary Why We Fight. (From the link, you can watch it in its entirety.) Its a pretty sobering look at our current situation of war, with a detailed look back on the recent history of war. It also features a discussion on the media's involvement in our current situation and the business of war. It details just how important war is to our economy and political machine. (It reminded me of a passage I blogged about in Brian McLaren's book "Everything Must Change"). I teared up at times, utterly depressed at our present situation. It is really worth your time and I would love to hear what you think of the film.
