Pretty depressing news. While I don't agree with Tiller's stance on abortion and the procedures he carried out, I certainly don't support the use of violence to stop abortion. Its strikes me as odd that those who are so vehemently pro-LIFE would be willing to take life. Doesn't the sanctity of life apply to all people, regardless of what they have or haven't done?
The most disturbing line comes on the second page of the article: 'But Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue, called Tiller "a mass murderer" and added: "We grieve for him that he did not have time to properly prepare his soul to face God."' Ironic that Tiller was murdered in a church. How does this person know if Tiller's soul was prepared to face G-d? And, as Christians, aren't we supposed to believe that ALL people can be redeemed regardless of what they've done on earth? After all, the criminal on the cross was assured paradise by Jesus himself!
