A week ago, Ron and I took out new canoe out for a morning row. It was a beautiful morning and we drove down to Farewell Bend Park (about 1 mile from my house) and put in. We canoed up the Deschutes River a little ways, then simply floated down and talked for almost an hour. We finished by paddling back up stream to our car.
It was such a great opportunity to spend time with a great friend talking about our lives and such. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Central Oregon and a nice little work out. It was a great morning.

One thing...you paddle a canoe, you row a boat. Get it right man, you're nautical now!
